EL can now sign "more." When he wants to eat more, he shows this sign to Papa and Mama.

Going Down the Slide

EL was going down the slide at Inokashira Park with his friend. At first, he was scared and wouldn't let Mama go, but he was enjoying it soon after.

Loves the Sandbox

EL loves the sandbox. He can play for a long time (for his age) in it. He now can use his shovel to dig a little.

Swimming Class

This is EL's new bathing suit.

EL and Mama went to a trial swimming class today. It was EL's very first time in a swimming pool! The class went on for about half an hour. He was so scared for the most of the class and grabbed onto Mama very tightly. He cried off and on a little, but at the very end of the class, Mama was just holding him under his arms/shoulders.

After the swimming, we went to check his weight and height. He is now 29 inches and close to 19 pounds.

More Toys

We pulled out a couple of toys people sent for EL when he was born. They were still a little "too old" for EL, but he found a way to play with them. In this photo, he was pulling some wood pieces out and putting them back in the box instead of building something with them. He can keep himself entertained well.

Zoo for the First Time

This was EL's first time at a zoo. Lately he has been very interested in dogs and birds whenever he sees them, so we thought that it might be fun to take him there. It was a small zoo near our house, but it was just a right size for EL to look around.

Picnic

We had a long weekend called "Golden Week." Papa had 5 days off!

We went to a picnic on Sunday with Grandparents-Y&Y. The weather was not too bad. We brought lunch to eat and relaxed a little at the park. There were lots and lots of people there.

Lots of Energy

This photo was taken when EL and Mama came home around 3 P.M. today.
This morning, we left the house around 10 A.M. this morning to a children's house to play. He was playing there until around 2 P.M. As soon as we left the place, he fell asleep on his stroller while Mama shopped on the way home. When we got home, EL still had his hat on, but he started to play! He had too much energy for tired Mama.
