Train Museum

We went to a museum full of trains. It took about 1.5 hours by train to get there, but we had a great time!

Another Visit to the Zoo

EL and Mama went to the Inokashira Zoo again, but this time was with GrandPaMa. As usual, he really enjoyed watching the elephant there. He was also enjoying the small rides at one part of the park which has small rides like an amusement park.

Parking Garage

EL loves to play with is little indoor car. He rides it around the house, and tries to park it in his "garage." His "garage" is actually a small storage space. It is so small that he can't quite park his car with him on it, but he tries anyway. He has so much fun doing it. :)

Train! Train!

EL still LOVES trains. Whenever he sees a train, he says "Train! Train!" He likes seeing real trains, toy trains, and pictures of trains. Last week, we went to an indoor playground in Shibuya. He found train sets and was playing with it for a good while. After a while, he grabbed one of the trains and kept it in his hand until we left the place. :)

Library

EL sometimes goes to the library. He especially likes some train magazines on the kids' shelf, and the Thomas the Tank Engine book which he has to ask Mama for. He also likes helping the librarians to organize (?) some books. :)

Imagination

Lately EL has been really good at playing with his imagination. In this photo, he was drinking maybe OJ. When he finds a branch or a stick, he uses it and imagines that he is blowing bubbles. When he is eating bread, he eats half way and let it "run" on the table saying "Train! Train!" Today, he got a plastic container from the kitchen, and sat down. When Mama saw him, he was picking up some imaginary food, and bringing it to his mouth. :) He shared some with Mama, too!

These are some of EL's favorite toys. He also really likes reading books. He brings books and ask Papa or Mama to read them. He especially likes the Thomas the Tank Engine Story books.

Here, EL and Mama were playing with wooden blocks, which are form Auntie-K and Mama's childhood.

Using Chopsticks??

EL is starting to be able to hold chopsticks, but he can't quite use them. Well, he uses his hands often even when he uses spoons and forks, so I guess it's not that much of a difference!

One day on February, EL went to a tiny aquarium in Inokashira Park.
