After Being Grumpy...

EL was very grumpy one afternoon (just like today!). No matter what Mama did with him, he would not be happy. He finally got really tired at night, and he fell asleep in Mama's arms while feeding.

Ouch!

EL can now bite! In this photo, he is enjoying biting Papa's big finger. His jaw is getting strong, and he bites things that come close to his mouth. He is getting ready to start eating solid food?! We will probably start introducing some food besides milk and fresh fruit juice soon.

Let's Go Out!

EL has been going out for a walk every day. When he was 1 or 2 months old, he fell asleep as soon as we walked out of the door, but lately he has been staying awake for most of the time. He loves to be looking around and discovering different things.

Looking Good!

The other day, EL, Auntie-K, and Mama went shopping. Auntie-K bought a few useful items for EL and that was really nice of her. When we were walking around, we found some baby sunglasses. EL tried some on. He says, "What do you think?"

Story Time

EL and Mama read one story every day from "Disney 365 Bedtime Stories." When Mama looks up at EL in-between lines, he often smiles and seems to be enjoying the stories.

Practicing Sitting Down

EL can now sit down on his own for a few seconds if he is in a good mood.


But he sometimes needs Papa's help to balance.

He has been growing stronger and stronger. His grip is so strong, and one day, he was holding Mama's umbrella for a few seconds while she put her wallet back in her bag! He also likes to take Papa and Mama's glasses off their faces. He loves to grab on to anything and everything that comes close to his hands.

Rolling Around

Everything Goes into His Mouth

One of the things EL likes to do these days is to put everything into his mouth. Anything comes near his mouth and everything he grabs, such as his fingers, toys, towels, Papa's shirt, Mama's arm, and more!

New Friend!

EL and Mama went to see our friends. Mama became friends with MT Mama when she was pregnant with EL. EL's new friend MT is about 20 days older than EL. They met each other for the first time, and were very interested in each other. We will get together with them again and play!

He Still Cries!

Looking back at the photos, EL looks like a happy baby all the time. However, that is not true! He is a baby and he does cry! He still looks cute even when he cries. :)

He is getting so much louder when he cries. He has lots of tears coming out, too. He is steadily growing his emotions as well. So exciting!
