After Playing Hard...

EL and Mama were playing hide-and-seek tonight. EL loves to find Mama hiding behind the bed and couch. Once he finds Mama, she goes running away to hide again. Then, EL comes and finds her. He loves it so much that he laughs out loud every time he finds her. :D Is he dreaming about playing hide-and-seek with Papa right now? ZZZzzz... Good night, EL. Sweet dreams.

Standing Alone

EL still cannot get up without holding onto anything, but once he is up, he can stay standing alone. He can only do this when he is concentrated on a toy, but he can go for a long time. Papa even saw him take the first step when he was standing up. He is already quite mobile, but he will be going everywhere in the house on his own soon.

EL's First Snow

It snowed on January 23 in Tokyo. That was EL's first snow. He and Mama went outside for about 10 minutes to make the first tiny snowman for EL.

Peek-A-Boo

EL has been enjoying peek-a-boo for a while now. Everyone around him does it and he laughs. A few days ago, he started to do it by himself. First he was hiding behind the couch and peeking his face in and out. The other time, he used his bib. He was hiding and showing his face on his own. :D

Looking Out the Windows

EL likes to look out of the windows, and Papa likes to take his photos.

Mama's Walker

EL is in a walker Mama and Mama's sister used to use when they were babies. He likes using it when he is in a good mood.

Visiting Great-Grandma

We went to visit Mama's grandma on January 2nd. EL was having some apple with her.
