Standing Alone
EL still cannot get up without holding onto anything, but once he is up, he can stay standing alone. He can only do this when he is concentrated on a toy, but he can go for a long time. Papa even saw him take the first step when he was standing up. He is already quite mobile, but he will be going everywhere in the house on his own soon.

WOW, a first step! That is so exciting! I screamed to Dad when I read this, I think he thought I fell down. If I had been standing I would have. That is a real landmark for all of you, he will be hard to catch soon
