Nice Day Out

EL, Grandpa-Y, Papa, and Mama went for a walk last Sunday. The weather was a bit warmer than it had been, and the sun was out to warm us up. EL usually has funny faces or cute smiles in front of a camera, but this one is a bit different. Was he trying to say something???

"I Love the Box!"

Recently, we opened a new toy for EL. We got this from my cousin's family when he was born. He is now old enough to play with the toy. Before opening it, he was so excited about the box. He enjoyed playing with the box so much. :) (Well, he does like what's inside, too.)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We hope everyone is staying warm and having a good time.

In Japan, people do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but Mama cooked some turkey and other Thanksgiving food for Grandparents Y&Y, Auntie K, and of course for Papa. She also made some "Thanksgiving dinner" for EL. This probably was not as good as the food adults got to eat. EL did not get to eat the real Thanksgiving food, but at least got a picture taken with the food. :)

More Teeth

As you can see in this photo, EL has been drooling a lot again. Two of his bottom teeth are visible when he smiles or cries, and the top two are starting to come out!

Visiting Papa at Work

EL and Mama went to visit Papa at work last Friday, and we had nice lunch together. It took us over an hour to get there, but EL was being very good. :) We got to meet a lot of people Papa works with, and they were very nice!

When EL is put down on his crib, he usually does not go to sleep right away. He plays with his crib bumper, licks the bumper, and stands up holding onto the edge of the bumper. He just does not like to go to sleep! He sometimes cries like crazy on his crib rolling around and around. He is saying, "I don't want to go to sleep!!!!! I am not sleepy!!!! (A BIG YAWN)"

What's There?

EL and Papa were looking at something. Mama was wondering what was under there...? EL is soooo curious about everything!!

Trying New Taste

EL had some baby yogrut for the first time. It's got some carrot and apple paste on top of it. Mama tasted it and it was delicious. No wonder EL wants more!

Fun Time with Papa

EL and Papa were having such a good time last weekend while Mama was sick in bed. They were enjoying each other so much that Mama had to take their photos!!

EL now has more teeth coming out. When he eats his crakers, his teeth and crackers make a cute noise. :) His teeth are visible when he smiles or cries. They look so cute!

Getting Bigger

EL is getting bigger every day! Mama took him for his check-up last week, and he is now almost 15 lbs and about 26 inches long.

Here, EL is wearing a nice outfit that J's parents, B & F sent him. Mama thought he is now big enough for the outfit, but he is still a bit small for it. His sleeves and the bottoom of the pants needed to be folded up a little. :) We are sure that he'll fit into the outfit soon enough.

Little Cousin

EL's little cousin is born now! Her name is Madeleine Macy. She looks so adorable! We can't wait to meet in person! Congratulations to S & J!!
